Christine Ford – Owner/Coach

Christine stumbled upon CrossFit in 2008 while looking for something new to add to her training regimen.  After attending her Level I Certification class she was immediately hooked and hasn’t looked back.

Prior to CrossFit Christine’s training consisted mostly of running, biking and swimming.  She had and still does participate in many fun runs, marathons and tri-athlons. She is dedicated and passionate about fitness and health and loves passing her knowledge and passion on to her CrossFit athletes.  She has been training athletes in CrossFit for four years now and loves it.  She herself competes in various CrossFit competitions and is always looking to improve herself and her athletes.

Christine loves to see people step outside of themselves and do things they never thought possible.  She loves to push people to be all they can be and more!  She is very involved in the community and loves how CrossFit compliments the sense of community she enjoys.

Chad Judy – Coach

Chad discovered CrossFit while in Baton Rouge, LA in late 2011. While in his post-grad studies, Chad usually involved himself in intramural sports and used the university rec center for weight training. During that time,  he had grown complacent and after three months of a lot of junk food and television he knew he needed to get his act together. He saw the CrossFit games on ESPN2 and knew this was what he wanted to do. The next day Chad visited nearby Red Stick CrossFit where he was put through a tough little WOD called “Cindy” and got Oly weightlifting tips from the Athens Olympic Games coach Gale Hatch. Instantly hooked, Chad signed up for a year on the spot and hasn’t looked back since.

Before CrossFit Chad was a competitive high school football player and wrestler, earning All-state honors as a wrestler and starting both ways for a football team that would end up finishing 2nd in the state. At Oregon State University Chad earned his degree in Horticulture and went on to Louisiana State University to earn his Master’s degree in Environmental Science. After becoming involved with CrossFit in Baton Rouge Chad saw how this form of exercise can influence and change people’s lives, he then made his plan to become a coach.

Chad’s favorite thing about CrossFit is watching people push themselves past their comfort zone and get to a place mentally and physically they didn’t think they could get to before starting CrossFit. His personal CrossFit goals include qualifying as an individual for the North West CrossFit Games Regionals and to someday be part of Games qualifying team.

Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford

Dawna Graham – Coach

Dawna is a NPTI and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and CrossFit Coach. She didn’t start her career in fitness but rather in Social Work, after receiving a degree from Purdue University in Psychology and Law & Society. When she moved to Oregon in 1996 she settled into the corporate world in Human Resources. After having a child, she decided to change course again and pursue a career in fitness.

She found CrossFit in 2009 when she was looking for a new training method to help her improve strength and endurance for martial arts. CrossFit was the perfect fit. She immediately loved the challenge of learning new skills, lifting heavier weights, and the community that both pushed and supported her. Dawna believes that everyone is an athlete no matter their age or experience.

Sasha DeSilva – Coach

After some intense peer pressure in 2011, Sasha gave in and tried a CrossFit workout for the first time. After one workout outside of her own fitness routine, she was both inspired and humbled by the athletes around her. Over the next year, CrossFit started to become more and more a part of her life. She developed friendships with the people working alongside her, gained physical and mental strength and accomplished goals beyond her expectations.
Sasha’s journey as a coach started by becoming a yoga instructor and then soon after in 2012, becoming certified to teach CrossFit. Since then she has attended several olympic lifting seminars, competed in local CrossFit competitions, and participated in local relay runs every year.
Outside of coaching at BCF, Sasha also works for a sports rehab clinic assisting doctors in treatment, rehabilitation, and prevention of injuries. This experience has added to her knowledge base about exercise physiology and has influenced her coaching methods.
She is passionate about building a foundation of healthy movement patterns and helping others discover their potential.

Paris Rabidoux – Coach

Growing up, Paris competed in as many sports as possible. He began with football at the age of seven, and continued on into high school playing soccer, swimming, water polo, track and field and more football. When he was seventeen, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps, again being pushed physically and mentally. During his enlistment, Paris found a passion for exercise and training both in and out of the gym setting. He was fortunate enough to play football again with the Marine Corps, allowing him to stumble across CrossFit and recognize the overall athleticism and functionality that encompassed the sport. The ever changing and constantly varying movement was something that he saw as being a highly unique and necessary aspect to training.
Paris completed his Level One Certificate in 2014 and began coaching shortly thereafter. He has also completed his CrossFit Kids Certificate, and is currently finishing a dual Bachelors of Science in Physical Exercise Activity and Public Health Education, with a Masters Degree in Education, at Portland State University. His goal is a career as a high school Physical Education Teacher working with our teen population.

She is the lady to go to if you have any questions or need anything in the gym. Melissa believes in CrossFit not only because of the change it has made in her life but in the lives of BCF’s clients. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing someone conquer a goal they have been striving for or pushing through and doing something they never even fathomed they could do!

If you don’t plan, you plan to fail.

Bryan Miller – Owner

Bryan first got involved in CrossFit while training for the Navy in the fall of 2008. He started training himself and clients out of his garage in 2009 and hasn’t looked back since.

Prior to CrossFit Bryan was involved heavily in baseball, having played since he was 4 years old. Outside of CrossFit he enjoys snowboarding, eating and any kind of water sports.

He has yet to find a fitness regiment that is as effective both mentally and physically as CrossFit. He says the best part of being a trainer is seeing the progress that people make and being able to be a part of them reaching their goals. Bryan is always a positive energy in the Box and brings a ton of technical experience to the classes.

Plus he has an amazing sense of fashion.

Bryan’s achieved his goal to make it to the 2013 CrossFit Games as an individual and is now focused as making it every year going forward.
